I just returned from a couple weeks in Braddock, Pennsylvania, working with my business partner, checking out the evolving art and community projects and wandering around with a variety of cameras.  NewsHour did an interview with the current mayor of Braddock, who’s working to revitalize this post-steel industry urban-burb of Pittsburgh.  I’ve posted some images in the Braddock Gallery and there will certainly be more to come.

Since January 24th I’ve been taking one Polaroid, shot with my trusty old SX-70, per day. I plan to continue for an entire year.  That’s 366 days I’m forced to think about photography, observe, wander and find images I might otherwise have overlooked. It’s an experiment in discipline, an excuse to use this amazing collapsable SLR before the film runs out and a quirky little requiem for the impending death of the Polaroid medium.  I won’t be posting them all on the blog, so check out Polaroid 366 to see the entire project.
